Day 5: Take The Reins
It might sound strange to harness synchronicity — those meaningful coincidences where events in the outer world mirror something happening our the inner world. After all, aren’t these events random and rare? And what purpose would harnessing synchronicity serve?
I see synchronicity as the most powerful of all non-ordinary events because it has the capacity to jolt us out of an auto-pilot life where we are asleep to who we really are—divine creative sparks playing the game of life.
When unbelievable coincidences bombard us, not only do we start to realize that we are not alone in this game but we can glimpse the self beyond the character we play. Eventually, when we fully remember our Self, we still play the game as the character of fill-in-your-name. But now we play it with a sense of delight instead of fear. And with an awareness of how we are making the story not just playing a role created by some capricious God. We are that God…
It’s like the movie, The Matrix. Neo is utterly convinced that his virtual reality life is real — until one day he is unplugged from the Matrix by virtue of a red pill.
“You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
HOMEWORK: Set an intention first thing in the morning today for a gorgeous super stellar synchronicity to show up and dazzle you. And then tell and friend (or share on our Private FB PAGE HERE and write it down in your journal before bed. This closes the feedback loop, and fires up the synchronicity lift off. The more you notice, share, record these synchronicity events, the more they appear. The more they show up, the more…well, awake to reality you become. Think of it as becoming lucid in a dream…you can see you are not just the dream character but the dreamer too.

Pam– you are so welcome! Your letter to me today is a synchronicity for me as well. I am in the middle of revamping the 40 Day Challenge (adding some new content and changing up the order a bit) plus adding daily short audio downloads by me, as well. Have a focus group of 20 students now on day 24 with me. Your comment here feels like a cheerleading from my soul to keep on going in this direction. The way can be ass-kicking, and it’s easy to get caught up in the darkness and pain and become short sighted. Your program is restoring my vision! This morning during meditation, I think i accidentally tuned into my spiritual heart. I let my awareness go where it wanted and it focused on my heart. I started to feel a lot of emotion and felt like crying, and then I just started bursting out laughing and couldn’t stop for about 10 minutes. I just felt pure joy. Then, a few hours later I check todays forty day magic challenge email about synchronicity and see the video above! How about that for synchronicity?!

Yesterday I took the “Set an intention” homework, asking for a “super dazzling amazing stellar synchronicity to show up and blow my mind”…
Today for some reason I decided to make a little game with myself: Wake up and Try to get ready for college without opening your eyes. I did it! And even walked half a street with eyes closed, only to be drawn back to the visible world by the unexpected (chances were low) voice of a very, very special person that I really wanted to encounter. But that is not all.. I opened my eyes and saw “a very different world” (that was my first thought after opening my eyes) everything was covered in an amazing myst/white veil of fine dust and the light around seemed so mystical to me, I was blown away!
It was just after spending the whole day seemingly being the only one enjoying to get all dusty that I remembered a “random” feeling from a couple days ago when a friend asked me about my favorite color (My “favorite color” tends to change from time to time) “I feel that Right now I just changed to white for some reason.” Haha, Magic!
Note: I live in Mexico, so unfortunately, no snow here. I live in a city near an active volcano that had an explosion during the night and along with some heavy wind provoked a volcanic ash storm that covered everything in white! Isn’t it amazing? Last time that happened was like 5 years ago and usually volcanic ash is colored black or dark gray. 😀

PPS: tl;dr: Any tip in how to move on from bliss when doesn’t let you want anything else?
Most of the time I encounter myself floating and resting in bliss…and thus not putting any effort or interest in doing day to day stuff. Any tip?

Funny that now that I’m paying attention I’m seeing more events as synchronicities, and even recalling some events in my life that were definite synchronicities but I just was not paying attention. Even little things, I had a dream last night that I was speaking German to two German women and then they switched over to English because they forgot that I was German. I didn’t think much of that little part of a dream but this morning my partner asked me if I would contact some German friends to see if anyone could point him in the direction of someone to translate the book into German (I can’t do it because it is a full time job and I already have one of those). I’m not sure if this would be considered as a synchronicity or not: We didn’t even know about the major storm and power outages yesterday, yes rain and wind but that’s all, we were at a talk at Granville Island all day. We were “blown away”, not from any storm but from the main speaker and his message. He was talking about energy from the vacuum and how very soon this will happen and our usual dirty energy will be gone … and what happens here? … power outages all day ALL AROUND US but no outages where the talk is held. Coincidence? Or synchronicity?
